Adventure

An adventure is an exiting activity that you may not be used to do, an experience that might be risky, dangerous or extraordinary.

MMORPGs qualify as adventurous as they will often set your avatar in a strange and hostile world, with quests to achieve which will lead you to cooperate with other players to kill frightening monsters.

Usually, the only physical risks you run in an MMORPG are to forget to buy your food in time or to have to refrain from going to the toilet for too long as the battle rages on...
